Our very own Ewen MacLure has just held his first ever solo art exhibition, at the Old Bakehouse Gallery, Create, Kyle of Lochalsh (Thursday 4th and Friday 5th September 2025). The exhibition was a great success – Ewen received lots of positive comments about his beautiful artwork, and even made the local paper! This was a long-held dream for Ewen, who has been a keen artist since childhood and was delighted to finally make his “dream exhibition” a reality. Ewen was involved with every step of the process – from contacting the owner of the exhibition space, to designing posters and invitations, to typing up titles and descriptions for each of his pieces.
