In May, we took part in a ‘Surfers Against Sewage’ beach clean in Balmacara with Gill Houlsby. We did a beach clean with Gill last October, too, so we knew what to look out for, and why it is so important to do our bit to protect the environment. The first time, we filled up 6 bags of rubbish, and this time we filled 10! Although it is sad that there is so much rubbish around on our beautiful beaches, we were all glad that we could do something to help.
